Elder care options class to be held at Skagit Valley Hospital

Debbie Gann, Home Attendant Care DirectorCommunity members are invited to join Debbie Gann of Home Attendant Care for an informational workshop focusing on care options available to the elder population.

Debbie, an expert in the home care industry, has more than 25 years experience working with senior citizens and their families as they plan for the future and work through transition times.

“Many of us will one day need to care for ourselves or a loved one.  This elder care workshop brings clarity to the maze of support services available – it is beneficial to people of all ages that want to explore options,” says Gann.

Participants will learn about alternative living situations, transportation, nutrition, medical services, and in-home care (including home-health and hospice). Information about how to access these services, the costs of each and the role of Medicare, Medicaid, long term care insurance and other funding sources will also be covered.
