2013 Elder Service Providers Caregiver Conference, “Cultivating Great Care”

Elder Service Provider’s Annual Caregiver Conference, taking place on Friday, March 22nd, 2013 in Bellingham, WA, is designed to help caregivers rejuvenate and remember to take care of themselves while caring for others.

Tracey Conway - Elder Service Provider Key Note Speaker, 2013

The  conference provides up-to-date information and opportunities to network and share ideas with fellow caregivers. Attendees also learn tips and tools for preserving their physical and emotional health while finding out about access to community support.

This year’s keynote speaker is Tracey Conway.  She is a comedienne and former cast member on KING-TV’s Almost Live!, a Seattle-based sketch comedy show, from 1984 to 1999.

As an Emmy award-winning actress, Tracey inspires both belly laughs and tears as she relates the circumstances and details of her cardiac arrest and subsequent recovery at age 38. Audiences continue to be affected by Conway’s powerful and unique program, “Drop Dead Gorgeous.” She shares the lessons she learned in those literally heart-stopping moments – not only about heart disease, but also what she has come to value most given a very rare second chance at life. Whether she’s detailing her whirlwind appearance on Oprah, or explaining the cardiac arrhythmia ventricular fibrillation, Conway’s delivery is captivating, effervescent, intimate, and guaranteed to touch hearts, minds, and funny-bones.

Registration is available online ($25).
